🌟 Project Objective

Implement an advanced, centralized street lighting management system compatible with ferromagnetic ballast technology, to optimize maintenance, reduce operating costs, and ensure the safety of millions of citizens and visitors in the holy city.

⚙️ Solution Provided

Lumnex deployed its LumnexLightControl™ platform, connecting over 8,000 luminaires and 110 smart cabinets. Key features include:

• At least 25% reduction in energy consumption
• Real-time failure detection (lamps, ballasts, pole inclination, cabinets)
• Automatic alerts via SMS/email
• Remote maintenance operations and crew optimization
• Web portal for operators and city managers

🚀 Results

The City of Makkah achieved a near 99% lamp functionality rate, significantly improving lighting quality, safety, and operational efficiency. The system is expected to expand to 100,000 connected luminaires.
